According to a Météo-France report, if global warming continues at its current rate, France could face a +4°C temperature increase by 2100, leading to more frequent extreme weather events like heatwaves, droughts, and wildfires. A year like 2022, which was the hottest on record, would be considered "exceptionally cool" by 2100. The northern half of France could experience an additional month of dry soil per year.
